As a dedicated grassroots activist, I have tirelessly worked with passionate individuals across our state for
the past four years to advocate for fair election processes. Unfortunately, we have faced significant
opposition from our own Wisconsin lawmakers, who have hindered truth and transparency.
Trust in our elections is vital for a healthy representative democracy. Voters must have confidence that their
votes are accurately counted and that the process is free from interference. The lack of confidence, especially
highlighted after the 2020 election, demands immediate attention. We must restore faith in our election
results, as the consequences of a vulnerable system are reckless and dangerous.
Key Measures to Restore Trust in our Elections:*
● One-Day, In-Person Voting: Conduct voting on a single day for consistency and security.
● Paper Ballots: Use paper ballots to provide a verifiable and auditable record of each vote.
● Hand Count: Hand-count ballots to ensure accuracy and transparency.
*Special accommodations for military personnel serving overseas, indefinitely confined voters, and other
extenuating circumstances will be implemented as part of this initiative.
While transitioning back to traditional election methods—one-day, in-person voting, paper ballots, and hand
counting—will take time, immediate actions can pave the way for a secure and transparent process. The first
step should be addressing the estimated 3 to 4 million ineligible voters on the statewide registration list
maintained by the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Leaving millions of ineligible names on the voter rolls
risks thousands of unverifiable, illegal ballots being cast. To ensure our elections are verifiable and
legitimate, these names must be removed. It is astonishing that our Wisconsin lawmakers have chosen to
overlook this despite widespread public outcry and frustration.
Upholding the principles of our representative democracy is crucial to honoring the vision of our forefathers.
Wisconsin lawmakers must prioritize rebuilding trust in our electoral process so that every voter is confident
that their vote counts.
