Kelly Clark is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner and successful entrepreneur in the healthcare field. Her journey began as an emergency department nurse in Racine, Wisconsin, before pursuing graduate studies at Marquette University. After completing her education, Kelly continued her career in emergency medicine at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee.
Driven by a passion for preventive medicine, Kelly founded Medical WeightLoss & Wellness, Inc. 15 years ago. Her clinic emphasizes the transformative impact of diet on overall health and wellness. Through guidance and education, Kelly and her team empower patients to improve their health, reverse or mitigate disease processes, and enhance their overall quality of life. What began as a solo venture has now flourished into a thriving business with locations in Racine and Greenfield, employing a dedicated team of 23 professionals.
Kelly resides in Yorkville, Wisconsin. In August 2024, she married her fiancé, Matt, after nearly eight years together. Kelly is a proud mother of two adult sons, while Matt is the proud father of a teenage daughter. Matt, a retired Kenosha firefighter, is now a funeral director and co-owner of Piasecki Funeral Home in Kenosha. Their diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to serving others have created a strong foundation for their partnership.
Kelly became active in the grassroots movement with an organization named H.O.T. (Honest, Open, Transparent) Government in 2021. Her motivation stemmed from two pivotal experiences. The first was witnessing a departure from the fundamental “do no harm” principle that had long been associated with the medical system. The COVID-19 pandemic laid bare the unprecedented overreach of the government and the excessive control exerted by the pharmaceutical industry over agencies like the CDC, NIH, and FDA—agencies that should prioritize the safety and health of Americans. The second pivotal experience was her growing skepticism toward the results of the 2020 election. As she delved deeper into the electoral process, she uncovered irregularities that left her angry and disillusioned. It became painfully clear to her that the lack of transparency in our political system posed a very real risk to the power and voice of the people.
Motivated by these concerns, Kelly recognized that if change was to happen, it had to start with the people. Collaborating with like-minded grassroots activists across the state, she experienced firsthand the power of collective action. It wasn’t easy and was often frustrating, but together, they were able to initiate change. Their work, especially through community outreach, empowered others to understand the issues and take action by reaching out to their representatives, forcing them to listen and respond.
Kelly’s goal is to restore integrity in our government, ensuring full accountability and fiercely protecting the rights and freedoms of every individual, free from the bondage of partisan loyalties. As your representative, she is determined to break away from the conventional mold. Recognizing the power of grassroots movements, Kelly will keep her district and all Wisconsinites informed and engaged through frequent social media updates. Through her posts and videos, she will invite you to be a part of her journey, educating you about the legislative process, keeping you up-to-date on critical issues, and providing actionable steps to empower you to actively participate in shaping the future of Wisconsin.
Kelly firmly believes that meaningful change can only be achieved through the support and collaboration of the people. Therefore, she emphasizes the importance of unity and working together as a powerful force for real, impactful change. It is through this collective effort that she envisions a brighter future for all.
As an independent candidate for District 33, my top priority is to place the needs of our community above partisan politics. I am dedicated to developing practical and effective solutions that benefit all Wisconsinites, regardless of party affiliation. My commitment is rooted in the belief that our community’s well-being should guide our decision-making, rather than loyalty to a party or ideological agenda.
Running as an independent allows me to serve the 33rd District without being constrained by party agendas or ideological extremes. My goal is to foster collaboration, integrity, and a genuine dedication to improving the quality of life for those residing in the 33rd District and all residents of Wisconsin.
It is unfortunate to witness how extreme positions on both ends of the political spectrum have deviated from their original purpose of serving the people. Instead, they often prioritize personal power, financial gain, and control. This is evident in their reliance on extreme viewpoints on issues such as abortion, environmental policies, and gender transition in minors, which only serve to fuel hatred and contempt for the other side. This manufactured division harms our communities, threatens the very fabric of our society, and prevents us from coming together to find common solutions and work towards a better future. It seems as if those in power prefer to allow our society to remain stagnant and fester in a state of perpetual animosity rather than allow for progress that benefits the majority.
Despite perceived differences, we, the people, share many common values and aspirations for our families and communities. Our collective interests typically lie in the moderate center, where practical solutions and shared goals intersect. The stark division we perceive is largely manufactured, amplified by political leaders seeking power, mainstream and social media pushing prescribed narratives while censoring opposing viewpoints, and special interest groups advancing narrow agendas. These entities often highlight fringe views, creating a false narrative of irreconcilable differences. By recognizing these divisive efforts, we can transcend artificial divisions and work together to improve our communities and society as a whole.
By choosing to run as an independent candidate, I aim to uphold the true spirit of our representative democracy and ensure that the voices of District 33 are both heard and respected. Our founding fathers created a form of government where elected representatives serve the people, not partisan interests. I am committed to representing the diverse perspectives and needs of our community, rather than being beholden to any particular party or ideology.
In 2020, I witnessed a departure from the fundamental “do no harm” principle long associated with our medical system. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed unprecedented government overreach and highlighted the excessive control exerted by the pharmaceutical industry over the CDC, NIH, and FDA—agencies that are supposed to prioritize the safety and health of Americans.
If elected, my first priority will be to demand an investigation and, during this investigation, an immediate suspension of both COVID-19 mRNA vaccines and the COVID hospital protocols. The alarming trends in disability and excess deaths associated with the vaccine rollout, as well as the high mortality rate and side effects resulting from the hospital protocols, necessitate urgent action. The safety and well-being of individuals should always be the top priority, and a thorough investigation is necessary to ensure this.
Our nation faces a severe health crisis, with chronic conditions now affecting 60% of American children, up from just 6% fifty years ago. Conditions such as autoimmune diseases, diabetes, ADHD, autism, obesity, asthma, and food allergies are on the rise. Investigating the causes of this crisis should be a priority, yet the FDA has repeatedly failed to address this issue, including regulating known harmful food additives. As a result, consumer protection must become the responsibility of the states.
Federal agencies, influenced by corporations and outside interests, have lost sight of their mission to protect our well-being. I am committed to creating a healthier future for Wisconsin. It’s time we prioritize the health of our communities and demand safer food standards. We and our children deserve nothing less.
As a dedicated grassroots activist, I have tirelessly worked with passionate individuals across our state for the past four years to advocate for fair election processes. Unfortunately, we have faced significant opposition from our own Wisconsin lawmakers, who have hindered truth and transparency.
Trust in our elections is vital for a healthy representative democracy. Voters must have confidence that their votes are accurately counted and that the process is free from interference. The lack of confidence, especially highlighted after the 2020 election, demands immediate attention. We must restore faith in our election results, as the consequences of a vulnerable system are reckless and dangerous.
As a single woman in my twenties, I faced an unplanned pregnancy. This experience gave me profound insight into the complex and emotional decisions women encounter when unexpectedly pregnant and unprepared for motherhood. Guided by my personal beliefs and faith, I chose to embrace life. Today, my son is 23 years old and has recently graduated from Marquette University. My unwavering commitment to providing him with the best possible life became the catalyst that inspired me to transform my own.
Without resources like WIC, BadgerCare, and the Wisconsin Shares child care subsidy, I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my education in nursing while also working to support my son. These programs provided the opportunity to improve both our lives’ trajectories.
Driving is a necessity for many immigrants with jobs and families. As of 2024, 19 states allow undocumented immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses. A practical solution is implementing driver’s privilege cards for undocumented immigrants. These cards are not valid forms of identification and do not grant voting rights, but they play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals pass driving tests, understand traffic laws, and have access to auto insurance.
Driver’s privilege cards are visually distinct from regular driver’s licenses, clearly marked with “FOR DRIVING PRIVILEGES ONLY, NOT VALID FOR IDENTIFICATION.” Their sole purpose is to provide a legal means for driving while promoting road safety. By implementing such programs, Wisconsin can address the challenges and safety issues associated with restricting driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants, making our roads safer for everyone.
European countries, with 10-20 years more experience in providing gender transition services to minors than the United States, have recently reevaluated their protocols. Nations like the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark have conducted systematic reviews and implemented policy changes due to concerns about long-term health and psychological effects, including transition regret. Their new approaches include narrowing eligibility criteria, discontinuing surgical transitions for minors, implementing stricter supervision, emphasizing counseling for gender dysphoria, and using hormone therapy judiciously, if at all.
Unfortunately, in many states, including Wisconsin, the well-being of children has taken a backseat to political agendas. This troubling trend has led to a disregard for recent scientific evidence from European countries and has deliberately excluded the crucial role of parental involvement.
Supporting the natural, unalienable right to self-defense is essential. This fundamental right is safeguarded by both Article I, Section 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution and the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. I am deeply committed to protecting our Second Amendment rights, honoring the vision of our Founding Fathers who guaranteed the right to keep and bear arms. They recognized this right not only as a means of self-defense but also as a crucial safeguard against a tyrannical government.
I strongly support school choice as it empowers families to select the best educational environment for their child, whether it’s a traditional public school, charter school, private school, or homeschooling. This freedom fosters competition, leading to better quality and innovation.
School choice promotes parental involvement and engagement, enhancing investment in academic success. It also addresses educational disparities by providing equal opportunities for all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, ensuring access to high-quality education for low-income communities. Every child in Wisconsin should have the opportunity to receive the best possible education tailored to their unique needs.
Our individual rights must be safeguarded from unnecessary government intrusion. Both federal and state overreach have led to mounting debt, excessive regulation, and infringements on many of our constitutional rights. If elected as your representative, I am dedicated to tirelessly working towards a limited government that respects and preserves our freedoms. By promoting responsible governance, we can ensure that government power is wielded in a manner that prioritizes the well-being and prosperity of Wisconsinites.
As I prepare to marry a retired firefighter/paramedic and with my brother-in-law serving as a firefighter/paramedic, I have firsthand appreciation for the unwavering dedication and extraordinary courage exhibited by firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and law enforcement officers. These remarkable individuals willingly put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve the people of Wisconsin. My commitment is steadfast in ensuring that our first responders receive the funding and support they deserve. This means advocating for fair compensation that reflects the invaluable service they provide and ensuring they have access to the essential resources needed to carry out their vital work in safeguarding our communities.
